Back Garden
知らない女の人が電話越しに秘密の花の在り処を教えてくれる夢を見た、と数年前に兄が語った。
この世界のどこなのか、夢のなかでは分かったつもりでも、実際には分からない、という。
私は、ずっと昔からその秘密の花の在り処を探していたのかもしれない。
Back Gardenとは裏庭、奥庭、あるいは俗語で肛門という意味である。 生まれ育った家の窓からは、アパートや住宅が建ち並び、遠くに山が見える。 私の生まれ育った環境では、水は蛇口をひねれば出てくるもので、排泄物はレバーを引けば流れていく。私はその不可視の領域を確かめていく行為として写真を繰り返し撮っている。
あの時、語った夢…兄は寝ているとき、はたまた酔ったときに見たものなのか、僕にはわからない。
ただ、秘密の花というのは、どこにでも存在しているときもあれば、とてつもない隔たりの先に存在しているときもあるようなのだ。例えば、グラスに残るアブサン酒のなかにも、ニガヨモギの花（の生と死）は横たわっているし、すぐ隣に眠る人が、’’それ’’なのかもしれない。
ある日、私は兄に夢について訊ねた
私:その女の人が電話越しにさ、貴重な花の在り処を教えてくれる夢っていうのはさ、知っている人の声?
兄:いや、そこまで分からない
私:ただ、女の人が電話を掛けてくる
兄:あぁ、そうだね
私:電話を掛けてきたの。電話をしている状況なの?
兄:いきなり電話して
私:いきなり電話している状況
兄:なんか、夢見てて、いきなりその場面に移ってて意味不明なんだけど、そんな感じ
私:へぇ、そのさ、花の在り処は聞いててさ、ここら辺にあるんだろうなってことは分かったの?
兄:いや、分かんない。実際にこの世界のどこかは分からない
私:え、でも説明していたんでしょ?
兄:うん
私:それは覚えてないの?内容は・・ 兄:うん。その場で分かったつもりでも、夢だから // 2017/12/31
One day I asked my brother about his recurring dream
Y: The woman on the phone... the one where she tells you where the precious flower is hidden... do you recognize the voice? O: No, I cant pin down where I know her from
Y: So, it’s just like some random woman has phoned you?
O: Something like that.
Y: Do you remember picking up? Or are you already talking?
O: We're just suddenly talking...
like in the midst of dreaming Im thrust into this conversation for some reason. Y: Weird. So like, when she tells you the flowers whereabouts,
is it somewhere nearby?
O: Im not really sure... I don’t know how to find it.
Y: But she explains that to you, right?
O: Yeah
Y: But you cant remember the details?
O: Yeah, I mean I try to remember them... but they’re trapped inside the dream.

アダムとイヴが蛇にそそのかされる前のこと

The flower swing on the north side of slope where snow still story
私はその花をこう名付けた
「白い旗ふりの小人」
大陸から吹いてきた風に揺れている
Swung by the wind from the continent
蛇口から滴る水
Water dropped out of the faucet
アブサンに溶け出す角砂糖
Sugar cube welt with absinthe
電話越しの女の声
Voice of woman over a phone
軋むベッド
Squeaky bed
遠くで時間の割れる音が響く
You hear the sound after time cracking far away
西北西
West North West
陽の沈む方角
The direction the sun goes down
ただ、君はそこへ行くのに、北も南も、東も西も向かなければならない
But to go there , you have to face north south east and west
それは遠く、遠く、ずっと遠くにあるから
Because it is far, far, far away
いくつもの夜をやり過ごさなければならない
Need to spend so many nights
